The Italian based company BRC (Bogetti Romano Cherasco) Gas Equipment started out already in 1962 with commercialisation of systems for vehicle conversion. In 1992 the BRC trademark was purchased by M.T.M (a company owned by the two brothers Mariano and Piero Costamagna) and the development and production of complete LPG/CNG systems started out. BRC became after merging with IMPCO in 2005 the biggest group in the world for alternative fuels.
Currently BRC has a global market share of 17 percent, with about 1 500 employees and a 2008 turnover approximately 240 million Euro. BRC Sweden AB operates as the Swedish general agent for these market leading and state of the art BRC systems and components.
The Swedish branch BRC Sweden AS is an independent supplier of BRCs products in Sweden. However it is strongly linked to the Italian base company both in tecnical development and management.
